Based on ABB's extensive industry and application experience, the N-series general-purpose high-voltage motors provide a cost-effective pre-engineered solution to meet ABB's high-quality motor standards, but the delivery time can be shortened by several weeks.

ABB has a very simple online tool called "MachSize", which is a tool to help high-quality customers and partners in motor selection, which simplifies the work of motor configuration. Another tool is called "DocStage", which is an online system for sharing and managing documents. Customers can directly view and download related documents and 3D drawings of the motors they purchased through permission settings.

The N-series motors currently include three products: the proven high-voltage bar-cooled induction motor, the high-voltage modular induction motor and the high-voltage slip ring motor. N series motors with basic configuration can meet the general needs of various industries. To meet specific needs within the industry, premium customers and partners can use the MachSize online tool to select from a range of pre-engineered option packages, such as vertical mount motors and thrust bearings in pump applications. The N-series pre-engineered motors complement ABB's A-series customized motors, which are highly customized, designed according to the precise needs of customers and provide flexible design motors.
Like all other ABB products, the N-series motors are supported by ABB's global technical support, including more than 60 service centers and 150 authorized service providers worldwide. Spare parts, repairs and replacements, and preventive maintenance are available at any stage of the product life cycle to help customers reduce the risk of downtime and thus lower total cost of ownership.
