The birth of ABB's new robot product IRB 2600 marks the further expansion of ABB's medium-sized robot family. The IRB 2600 family consists of 3 sub-models with loads ranging from 12kg to 20kg. This family of products is designed to increase productivity in loading and unloading, material handling, arc welding and other machining applications.
Main features and uses:
New compact design: enables the robot to load up to 20 kg and optimize its working range in material handling, loading and unloading and arc welding applications. The IRB 2600 has the highest accuracy and acceleration in its class, This ensures high throughput and low scrap rates to increase productivity.
Flexible installation methods: including floor installation, inclined installation, wall installation, inverted installation and bracket installation, help to reduce the floor space and increase the effective application of the equipment. The performance of the wall installation is particularly remarkable. Be more creative and optimize the robot footprint in various industrial fields and applications.
Three sub-models: two of them are short-arm type (arm length: 1.65m), with a payload of 12 kg and 20 kg respectively; one is a long-arm type (arm length: 1.85m) with a payload of 12 kg. Its vertical wrist can reach a maximum load of 27 kg in pick and pack applications.
